BURIED AT ABBEYVILLE, GEORGIA, REMAINS REMOVED TO NATIONAL CEMETERY, ANDERSONVILLE, GEORGIA, GRAVE NO. 13,697. THEY DIED BRAVELY IN LINE OF DUTY, MISTAKENLY SHOT BY FRIENDLY WISCONSIN CAVALRYMEN.
