Constituted May 1801 by its first Pastor, George Eve, along with William Hickman and 19 others. Joined Franklin Baptist Assn. in 1848. Present church built in Switzer circa 1871. ½ mile from the original log structure. Has
prevailed as one congregation through wars, pestilence & other crises for over two centuries.
Dedicated July 31, 2011.
