Moore's Mill
Inscription
Phillip Moore purchased a steam saw mill on Meshack Creek from S. A. Moore, 1874. Phillip's son Joel and 4 grandsons eventually moved mill here. In 1929 the expanded lumber mill was among first mills in area to operate at night with electric lights. Phillip's grandson, George Moore, owned mill from 1941 until his death in 1965. Presented by the Moore Family.
