Greensboro Founded 1732 as Bridge-Town, then in Queen Anne's and Dorchester Counties. Named Greensboro 1791. Sessions of Caroline County Court held here November, December, 1778; June, 1779; March, 1780. Choptank Bridge, the first across the river, built near here before 1732. Maryland Historical Society
