West Nottingham Academy

West Nottingham Academy Founded 1744 by Samuel Finley, Presbyterian Minister and a native of County Armagh, Ireland. He remained in charge of the academy and church until 1761 when he was chosen president of the college of New Jersey, now Princeton University. Maryland Historical Society
