Riversdale Site of the gates at the original entrance to Riversdale, or the Calvert mansion. Built 1800-1803 by Baron Henri Joseph Stier of Belgium, as a wedding gift for his daughter Rosalie Eugenie who married George Calvert, June 11, 1799. Maryland Historical Society
