The History of the Hinton area is showcased at the Hinton Historical Museum & Parker House. The museum contains many artifacts of life in the early 1900’s. The museum is also home to the Oklahoma’s largest buggy & carriage collection (horse drawn & horseless), and old bicycles from high-wheels to the 30,s, 40's, 50's & 60's.
Also showcased are antique cars from Model T's to Edsels, even a 1903 "Horseless Carriage" Oldsmobile, and a vast collection of farm equipment dating back to the 1800’s, and authentic Indian Ceremonial items. Monday - Saturday 10:00 am. - 4:00 pm.
