This mass grave contains the bodies of Albert Tunnicliff, Raisha C. Rice, James Chalmers, Samuel Haines, Fred D. Peters, Thomas Finless, Charles Hammontree, Peter and Louis Hanson, Harvey Wood and W.H. Andrews who perished in a fatal fire of Elk Creek on March 10-11, 1883.
